What’s going on?

Dear Perry,

Thank you. Thank you for setting an amazing example of what its like to LIVE a life in ministry. Thank you for setting up so many boundaries to protect yourself from yourself. Thank you for showing me the importance and value in FINISHING strong in ministry rather than flaming out early. Thank you for your transparency. Thank you for your humility. Thank you for modeling a happy marriage.

I Thank You for fighting so hard to abide in Jesus, making the tough decisions, waking so freakin’ early in the morning to read and pray, believing the bible from cover to cover. Thank you for sharing your successes openly, and I thank you even more for sharing your failures, so that I don’t have to follow through them. In the past year I have seen you grow so much as a leader. You inspire me to continually seek a posture of learning and growing, knowing that what is ahead is so much more incredible than where I’m at now, regardless of where I’m at now.

There are a lot of critics who post a lot of crap about you and NewSpring Church here on the internet, but I just wanted to put something out there to let you know that you are loved. And admired. And respected.

You have taught me so much about who Jesus is. You have continually modeled a life enamored in God’s word. You have always shown me to make the tough choices. Follow Jesus, no matter what.

You are my leader. You are my mentor. And I stand proud to say that you are my pastor.

Perry, I see Jesus in you more than I think I’ve ever seen him in any human being. I don’t worship you. I worship Him because of you.

Thank you Perry Noble. I got you man.
